I personally built this solid oak queen head and foot board. I was a finish carpenter for 40 years so I know what I’m doing. 4x4 posts and 1 1/2” cross members. Black and silver wrought iron spindles. Bed rails are poplar with mortised connecting hardware. Bed is solid as a rock when assembled. One rail did split along the grain. I glued it and used pocket screws to repair it. Then I put a 1/4” plywood gusset on the backside. Looks great and hasn’t been an issue since. A box spring is required for this bed frame. Cash only and local pick up only. It’s heavy.
