Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Mid-Level Carpenter or Experienced Carpenter Helper for an immediate residential restoration and remodeling project in the Ferndale, WA area.
The initial project involves demolition and rebuilding of water-damaged flooring and subflooring in a residential home. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience, be comfortable working with power tools, and be able to assist with demolition, framing, flooring repairs, and general construction tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist with demolition and removal of water-damaged flooring and subflooring.
Install and replace subflooring and flooring materials.
Perform general carpentry, framing, and remodeling tasks.
Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
Assist journey-level carpenters with construction and repair work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Previous residential carpentry, remodeling, or construction experience required.
Mid-level carpentry skills or strong experience as a carpenter helper.
Experience with demolition, flooring, subfloor installation, or water-damage restoration preferred.
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install building materials.
Comfortable using common carpentry tools and equipment.
Dependable, hardworking, and able to start immediately.
Ability to perform physically demanding construction work.
Reliable transportation to the Ferndale, WA job site.
Must have proper documentation to complete the 1-9 E Verify process.
Compensation & Opportunity
Pay: Approximately $30+/hour, depending on experience and skill level.
Immediate start on a residential water-damage restoration project.
Opportunity for continued employment based on performance and project availability.
Potential transition to a large condominium complex remodel beginning in early November.
Additional opportunities may be available for journey-level carpenters with strong remodeling experience.
