So, I am playing my bass and listening to music again. Looking for other people that are just goofing around and playing music.
If you are looking for experienced or a pro you should look elsewhere.
Random points:
I started playing again first week of July 2026 and learning from you tube videos, Rocksmith and stem apps. I tried this a few years ago but I was still working 50-60 hrs a week. Considering what else I had on my plate, it proved impossible for me to learn music again.
Some of the songs I am playing : 'Ain't no Sunshine', 'Blitzkrieg Pop', Knocking On Heavens Door, Purple Haze, Good, Runaway Train ... there's others too ... so really easy stuff for most people probably, but I still have a hard time. I have about a dozen songs now that I am goofing round with, send me a similar short list of your songs.
More random points:
I retired from my 'day job' recently for health reasons I am 63, good natured.
I don't pay attention to social media, TV Sports or media in general.
I had a TBI about 15 years ago from an illness, and it sometimes gets in the way of learning. I don't have any special needs though, I get by just fine. I only mention it, cause you shouldn't expect a musical genius.
I don't have enough room to have drums and band practice in my home, I need to find people that can.
I live near Fenton so please be a reasonable distance, within 15-20 miles at most. Give me a reasonable response, tell me where you're from, what music you like and what you want when you reply. I'm not going to call you or meet up or respond on another platform from a one line reply.
