We are a small security integrator looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined person to help with low-voltage installation projects throughout Suffolk County.
Work includes:
Pulling and terminating Cat6 / low-voltage cable
Installing cameras, Wi-Fi access points, speakers, and security equipment
Mounting equipment and working from ladders
Assisting with network, audio, alarm, and access control installations
General jobsite cleanup and organization
Experience with low-voltage, electrical, construction, AV, networking, or security systems is a plus, but not required.
We are more interested in finding someone who:
Shows up on time
Is comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Can follow directions and think through problems
Takes pride in clean work
Is comfortable working in customers' homes and businesses
Wants to learn
This is currently part-time / as-needed work, generally 1–3 days per week depending on our schedule. Could turn into more consistent work for the right person.
Pay: $20–$30/hr depending on experience.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to jobs throughout Suffolk County.
