Pick and Choose hatching eggs available. I have several rare and a few not as rare breeds to choose from depending upon what is laying. I have separate coops for my specialty breeds and then one barnyard mix coop that has multiple breeds in it. I have very few of each breed so please choose an assortment with no more than 4 eggs of any one breed. The minimum order is 9 eggs. If you are interested then reach out and let me know which breeds you are interested in and I will let you which hens are laying and if I have eggs from those particular breeds available. Sometimes, you might need to pick a substitute or wait until your desired breed cooperates. The breeds to choose an assortment from are the following:
French Black Copper Marans (From Greenfire Farms APA recognized and National Champion import line from France): $6 per egg
French Blue Wheaten Marans (Bev. Davis, Buddy Henry, Ron Presley, Dave Williams, Bob Terwilliger, Ralph Webb, Wade Jeane, and Justin Long lines). (50% chance of blue, 25% chance of regular Wheaten and 25% chance of splash): $6 per egg (Out of stock until December)
Rare Golden Deathlayer (An extremely rare 400 year old German heritage breed prized for striking appearance and its ability to lay eggs until the day it dies which can be even over 10 years: $6 per egg
Silkie: $3 per egg
Cream Crested Legbar (Jill Rees line): $5 per egg
Ice Cream Bars: Designer cross between a Swedish Isbar (Silverudd's Blue) hen that lays green eggs sometimes with purple speckles and a Crested Cream Legbar Rooster (Blue egg genetics from the Jill Rees Line): $4 per egg
Barnyard mix consisting of an Ideal 236 hen (a blend of Ancona with its highest food to egg ratio, White Leghorns, Brown Leghorns and calm California Grays that are active foragers), a Barred Rock hen, a Production Blue hen (Rhode Island Red and Blue Australorp), Game fowl mix (one lays such a light cream it looks almost white and the other one lays a light cream colored egg) all of these in the pen with the rare French Blue Wheaten Marans Cockerel. If you choose an egg from this pen, it will be hen's choice. It is difficult for me to tell which egg comes from which chickens since this mix is altogether in this particular pen and not separate like the other coops with the other breeds: $1 per egg
Olive Eggers which consist of 2 Ermine Ameraucana hens crossed with French Black Copper Marans rooster: $4 per egg
Olive Eggers produced from Whiting True Blue hens crossed with the French Blue Wheaten Marans rooster: $3 per egg
