For sale today in nicely restored antique humpback trunk with patent dates of 1870 and 1872 which makes this great old trunk as much as 153 years old - a true antique! The wood bottom is VGC and has been painted. Three original slats on the bottom. There are 3 original wheels on the bottom. Both hinges are original and are HD, fancy, tight and the lid closes well. All 22 pieces of hardware are original and polished. The center lock has been polished, no key and does not work. Both mechanical latches work well. The interior has been removed and the tray is long gone. All the metal/tin is in VGC. The metal lid stay is original, polished and works. There are 13 hardwood slats. Two steam bent oak handles and end caps are original. This great old trunk is 31 3/4, W, 17 3/4 D and weighs 33 lbs unpacked
Shipping to the lower 48 is available but is expensive. Price is $159 OBO
