Now Hiring: E-Commerce Delivery Drivers
District Capital Enterprise LLC is hiring independent delivery drivers for e-commerce deliveries throughout the DMV area.
Incentives
• $75 gas incentive for your first two weeks to help cover fuel costs before your first paycheck.($150 total)
• Background-check fee refunded with your first paycheck.
Delivery Details
Delivery areas: Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland
Pickup location: Elkridge, Maryland
Work Schedule
Choose one of the following schedules:
• Monday–Saturday
• Monday–Friday, with two Saturdays required per month
Time: Between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM
Pay
• $2.70 per package for deliveries in D.C. and Virginia
• $2.20 per package for deliveries in Maryland
• Paid weekly every Friday, following an initial two-week pay hold
• A two-week rolling balance is held throughout the contract; you will receive your final held payments after contracting ends
Pay Example
If your work week ends September 5, payment will be issued September 18. After the initial hold period, weekly Friday payments continue.
Important: Gas is not included after the first two weeks.
Background Check
• Background checks are completed through Checkr.
• Cost: $56
• The fee will be refunded on your first paycheck.
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Vehicle with valid registration and insurance; your name must be listed on the insurance policy
• Smartphone with GPS and camera capabilities
• Clean criminal background
• Basic smartphone and GPS navigation
skills
• Strong customer-service skills
• No prior delivery experience required
• One day of in-field training is available, if needed
Rental Vehicles
Rental vehicles are accepted if:
• Your name and ID match the rental agreement.
• Your name is listed on the renter’s insurance.
• You can provide proof of the required insurance.
