Tektronix TDS360 with failing Switched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) that is stuck in a "hiccup" mode cycle (powers up, detects fault, shuts down, and then repeats) It’s otherwise in good condition. I have no time to repair it, so it's an opportunity for you if you know how to read a schematic, have a multimeter, and can solder.
The issue is either electrolytics that need to be replaced (most likely), or one of the rectifier diodes (TO-220s) needs to be replaced. In the last photo, you can see that the lights come on (couldn't capture the screen flicker), so the power supply is coming on and the scope is trying to start but I think a short to ground is causing the safety shutdown. So $40 OBO plus some repair time gets you a decent scope.
Scope only.
$40 OBO Cash only, as-is, where is. If the ad is up, the scope is available. Please don’t email just to ask if it is still available. Email through CL to set up time to inspect and buy.
