I purchased this system in 2005 new. It has been an every day trouble free system since then. While video technology has come a long way since then, and I long ago began using it as the listening centre of my audio/visual needs, sound has never got better. Whether used for subtle jazz and classical, adventure movies sound that travels through the body or whatever your needs, few sound experiences outside the best theatre or a live music concert can approach this set up. Used the digital out port on your newer television and you have an unbeatable set up. Remotes come with the SONY along with the original manual. Nothing approaching this sound experience is available at this price, If you have the space for this system (a larger man cave) you will have the destination spot for music listening or movie experiences.
