Minimum 3 inches snow 4 is ideal
SOLID surface Asphalt or Concrete (WILL NOT work gravel or dirt driveway, but you will destroy it trying)
Requires ideally 12/3 extension cord, 14 could work if 25FT or less... Factor this into your budget; If you don't have one of these cords these 12/3 or 14 cords cost a little bit of cash. I have run this blower on 12/3 cord with a 20AMP breaker on panel, this Blower is not a toy, 10AMP breaker will probably trip!!
If you have never used s snow blower it's like sliced bread or a microwave oven first use, you'll never shovel snow again after using a snow blower, whether its this one or something else. You neighbors will envy you - I can do 20FT wide 30FT long drive in 30 min, hand shovel depending on your physical ability 2-4 hours. OH and it looks good too when you're done using a blower....
