SUCCESS FACTORS:
• Lead and manage the QC team (HLA – High-Level Assembly).
• Communicates effectively and coordinates with department managers, supervisors, leads and operators on inspection requirements and issues.

• Use lean tools to drive productivity improvements and lean implementation.
• Improve in-process quality: Conduct Work Cell inspections (AQL or audit-style sample inspections, not 100%, unless warranted) before and during production to catch issues early.
• Maintain compliance readiness:
o Helps verify revisions, records, ESD, equipment, calibration, and SPC requirements.
o Verify that paperwork and revisions are accurate.
o Inspect assemblies to applicable IPC/J-STD and customer requirements.
o Help ensure issues are identified and addressed as early as possible in the process.
• Speed NC response. Provide a cell-level QC contact to document, contain, and communicate NCs quickly, allowing the operators to continue their work.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides day-to-day work direction to personnel performing QC Inspection; maintains and assists with QC Inspectors' weekly reports, records, and files; performs final inspection tasks. Duties may also include generating the inspection work schedule for QC Inspectors based on the Manufacturing work order schedule.
• Effectively utilizes MDP, CDP and other tools to clearly plan and implement inspections.
• Works with the Manufacturing Supervisor and production scheduling to direct workers engaged in all manufacturing QC Inspections, ensuring that all products meet specified workmanship standards (i.e. IPC J-STD), customer requirements, and customer delivery expectations.
• Support receiving inspection: Conduct and manage receiving inspection of incoming material in BLDG D and/or where needed.
• Conducts Work Cell inspection (AQL or audit-style sample inspect, not 100%, unless warranted) before and during production to catch issues early.
• Assists with other BLDG D and BLDG A inspection duties when HLA workload allows.
WORK CELL DUTIES:
• Perform periodic sample audits of the HLA work cell before and during production to veri-fy process, documentation, and workmanship compliance. This may be performed using a checklist audit.
• Test documentation verification during WIP
• Completed documentation verification before shipment.
• Serve as the QC point of contact for quality questions, conformance issues, and nonconformance support.
• Document, contain, and assist with NCs, root cause, corrective actions, and QE escalation as needed.
RECEIVING INSPECTION DUTIES:
• Inspect incoming Lunar material at BLDG D and off-site storage location.
• Document and contain receiving nonconformance and support related root cause, corrective action, and QE escalation activities.
POST WORK CELL DUTIES:
• Final verification of product each shift or day.
• Final verification of product prior to shipment release.

TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: Successful completion of J-STD Training and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Training is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Electronic Theory and component level [digital and analog] troubleshooting practices preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Language and Communication: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical materials, procedures, and applicable regulations; prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including Algebra I and II, and mathematical operations related to frequency distribution, test reliability and validity, correlation techniques, and sampling theory.
Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems involving a variety of variables with limited standardization and interpret instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

BENEFITS:
• Pay range: $24.00–$33.00 per hour, plus overtime as needed
• Base pay may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
