For the last 10yrs an individual of Univ of Alabama Music Dept faculty has been the pianist for an original music project that is based out of Muscle Shoals, AL. Throughout this time, the project has been featured on Reverbnation in the "Other" category. The compositions are original with a focus on offering musical art that expresses compassion, hope and tolerance. The Reverbnation page has been #1 Internationally, #1 Nationally, #1 Regionally and #1 Locally at different times in it's existence. The instrumentation is grand piano, upright bass, and voice. The compostions are inspired by both jazz and classical sensibilities and is intentionally introspective, with a quiet approach to delivering messages of inspiration. This is not a faith based music project. The compositions have been performed live, for listening audiences in theater engagements. Professional recording studios are used for creating high quality content.
The loss of the pianist has created an opportunity for someone else to bring their sensibilities, talent and skills to efforts for future work.
