A Sweet Fluffy Syrian Hamster + Full Setup — Free to Experienced Home
Sammy is an adorable orange-and-white fluffy Syrian hamster. We’ve had him for about two months, and while he is a sweetheart, we’ve realized that a hamster isn't the right fit for our family's schedule and routine.
Because Syrian hamsters are strictly nocturnal, we don't get to see him much. In addition, he had a nervous nip early on while we were still learning how to properly settle him in, and our daughter is understandably shy about handling him now.
Because of this, Sammy is free to an experienced hamster owner who is willing to take the time, patience, and gentle approach to work with him and help him build trust. We believe with a bit of calm, consistent handling and taming practice, he will warm up nicely. To ensure he goes to a safe home where he can thrive, we are asking that anyone interested has previous experience with hamsters.
