We are hiring a dependable, experienced Handyman / General Laborer to perform residential repairs, drywall work, carpet cleaning, and general jobsite labor throughout the Puget Sound area. Arlington down to Tacoma
This is a varied, hands-on position. Some assignments will involve completing repairs independently, while others may involve assisting another technician, moving materials, preparing work areas, cleaning up, or completing other tasks necessary to finish the job.
Applicants must already have experience with handyman work, drywall, and general residential repairs. Carpet-cleaning experience is preferred, but we can provide training.
Responsibilities:
Drywall installation, patching, finishing, sanding, texturing, and repair
Minor residential repairs and general property maintenance
Interior paint preparation and touch-ups
Trim and baseboard installation or repair
Flooring installation and repair assistance
Professional carpet cleaning using company equipment and procedures
Carpet-cleaning equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and maintenance
Moving furniture and preparing rooms for carpet cleaning
Loading, unloading, and moving tools and materials
Preparing work areas and cleaning jobsites
Removing materials and jobsite debris
Assisting technicians and installers as needed
Taking before-and-after photos and sending brief work updates
Completing other handyman, helper, and general labor tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Professional handyman, drywall, maintenance, remodeling, or residential repair experience is required
Carpet-cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training is available
Able to perform skilled repair work and general physical labor
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Dependable, punctual, and responsive throughout the workday
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Comfortable traveling between different jobsites
Able to lift and carry tools, equipment, materials, furniture, and debris
Comfortable using a phone to send photos and job updates
Basic hand tools and equipment
