Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to perform electro-mechanical assembly in a fast-paced production environment. Depending on experience, this role may be filled at the Assembler I or Assembler II level.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform basic, routine electro-mechanical assembly tasks under direct supervision.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, drills, and measuring instruments.
• Follow drawings, sketches, assembly layouts, and written or verbal instructions.
• Complete repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
Additional responsibilities for Assembler II:
• Perform all duties of Assembler I with minimal supervision.
• Assemble more complex components and sub-assemblies.
• Organize and set up work areas to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct quality checks and perform conformal coating as needed.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members and supervisors.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, and use hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
• Ability to wear a respirator for certain tasks (physician’s certification required).
• Work environment: moderate noise level.
