Anchorfish Printing & Embroidery is looking for an experienced commercial embroidery machine operator to join our production team.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have previous hands-on experience operating commercial embroidery equipment.
We are looking to hire quickly so the new operator can work directly alongside our current embroidery operator before her departure at the end of September.
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours

What you'll do
Operate commercial embroidery equipment
Set up and run production embroidery jobs
Hoop shirts, polos, jackets, hats and other garments
Load designs and prepare machines for production
Select thread, needles, backing and stabilizers
Monitor quality throughout production
Troubleshoot thread breaks, tension problems, registration and other common embroidery issues
Perform basic machine maintenance
Trim, finish and inspect completed garments
Follow production schedules and work orders
Catch quality problems before garments are completed
Help keep embroidery production organized and on schedule
Requirements
Professional/commercial embroidery experience required
Spanish-speaking or bilingual English/Spanish required
Ability to independently set up and operate commercial embroidery equipment
Experience with hooping and garment placement
Understanding of thread, needles, backing and stabilizers
Ability to troubleshoot common embroidery problems
Strong attention to detail
Dependable and able to work efficiently in a production environment
Experience with Barudan equipment, caps, puff embroidery and challenging garment placements is especially valuable.
Priority will be given to experienced candidates who can start in September and complete hands-on training with our current operator before her departure.
