Hours:
Full-time position with some weekend, after-hours, and overnight on-call duties. Variable hours with consistent training hours at start.
Overview of Duties:
Processes, packs, and ships blood products.
Delivers blood products to area hospitals.
Maintains meticulous and accurate records.
Operates precise equipment in a clean laboratory environment.
Follows disinfection, decontamination, and bloodborne pathogen protection procedures.
Maintains a professional image and represents the Blood Bank appropriately.
Consistently displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm every day, fostering friendly, professional relationships with donors and coworkers.
Ensures donor and patient safety at all times.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must maintain a clean driving record and have a valid California license.
On-the-job training is provided, however, prior laboratory experience is preferred.
Must be able to function capably enough to drive safely and perform work duties at any hour of the day or night.
