We are seeking a dependable, highly organized and personable Front Desk Associate to join our dynamic team at a well-established ophthalmology practice. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where your customer service and administrative skills will make a direct impact on patient care and office efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing calendars efficiently and accurately
• Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient inquiries or concerns
• Verify insurance information and update patient records in the system
• Process patient payments and manage billing procedures
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
• Ensure a smooth and organized front office, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients
• Support ophthalmologists and office staff as needed, ensuring efficient office flow
Qualifications:
• Previous experience (preferred but not required)
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of basic office software and scheduling systems (experience with medical software is a plus)
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)
