Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are looking for a dependable and experienced Swing Shift Plant Supervisor to oversee evening operations, support production and shipping activities, and ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for carrying out daily goals established by day shift, supporting swing shift employees and supervisors, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the facility is properly shut down at the end of the shift.
Pay, Schedule, and Location
• Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
• Schedule: Swing Shift, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Location: Eugene, OR
• Employment Type: Full-Time
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Carry out the daily plans, goals, and objectives established by day shift.
• Assist, supervise, and provide support to swing shift employees and supervisors as needed.
• Coordinate with plant management and department supervisors to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
• Communicate with shipping personnel regarding orders, truck schedules, and shipment priorities.
• Monitor production progress and coordinate with processing personnel regarding parts, workflow, and operational needs.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges to the appropriate personnel.
• Address questions, concerns, and challenges that arise during the shift.
• Ensure daily operational goals are completed, and the facility is properly shut down at the end of the shift.
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a plant, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate daily operations and support employees across departments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and department supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to operational challenges.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for shift responsibilities.
