We are looking for a Server/Cashier who is as passionate about hospitality as we are about our delicious food.
The Role: Beyond the Counter
As the face of Uncle Sun, you are more than a cashier—you are a guide for our guests. You’ll help them navigate our innovative menu, ensuring every takeout order and dine-in experience reflects our commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Do:
• Create Atmosphere: Greet guests with genuine warmth and manage the dining flow with grace.
• Be a Menu Expert: Share the story behind our roots and provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Precision Operations: Efficiently manage the POS system, delivery platforms (like DoorDash/UberEats), and cash handling with 100% accuracy.
• Quality Control: Ensure every takeout package is perfect and the dining environment remains inviting.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the kitchen to ensure our "fast-casual" pace never compromises quality.
Who You Are
• Experienced: You likely have 1+ years in food service or high-volume retail. You understand the "rush" and thrive in it.
• Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things—a smudge on a table, a missing sauce in a bag, or a guest who looks like they need a refill.
• Culturally Curious: You have an interest in (or knowledge of) Chinese/Asian cuisine and are excited to explain Szechuan flavors to newcomers.
• Reliable & Professional: You show up ready to work, with a positive attitude that lifts the rest of the team.
Requirements:
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification.
• Availability for night shifts (5:30 PM – 10:30 PM), Tuesday through Sunday.
• Weekend availability is a must.
