Pancake Event Staff – Multiple Positions Available!

Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Event-day shifts; select positions require pre-event preparation.
We are hiring enthusiastic, reliable, and outgoing team members for a large promotional pancake event on Saturday, October 31! Multiple positions are available for individuals who enjoy working with the public, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in providing excellent service.
Positions Available"
Production Assistant/Runner: Assist with pre-event pickups, inventory, supply organization, and event preparation. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift over 50 lbs.
*Grill Masters: Cook pancakes on commercial griddles. Previous restaurant line-cook, short-order, or breakfast-cooking experience is required.
Quality Control Lead: Inspect food quality and coordinate with the grill team.
Batter Prep & Station Support: Prepare batter, restock supplies, and maintain clean, sanitary stations.
Serving Line Attendants: Plate and serve pancakes, greet guests, and keep the serving line moving efficiently.
Mascot Performers: Entertain guests, pose for photos, and stay in character while wearing a costume. One male and one female performer are needed.
Mascot Handlers: Guide mascots safely through crowds and coordinate photo opportunities.
Crowd Engagement Staff: Approach guests, start conversations, share basic brand information, and encourage participation.
Qualifications:
* Previous event, promotional, customer service, or food-service experience preferred, depending on the position.
* Friendly, outgoing, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public.
* Reliable, punctual, organized, and proactive.
* Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Able to assist with event setup, lift heavy supplies, and help set up tent frames.
* Comfortable standing for extended periods.
* Available to attend a required virtual onboarding meeting during the week of October 19–23 and review training materials before the event.
Additional Requirements:
* Black pants and black closed-toe shoes; event T-shirt provided.
* Mascot performers must follow specific costume attire requirements.
* Food-service staff must follow cleanliness, sanitation, and food-safety procedures.
