So shortly after finishing the first jar of a superfood snack that came in a metal container not the usual glass I had seen before I thought "Shame to just chuck these things in the recycle maybe? What about reusing these as loadable shakers or some kind of percussive thing, painting 'em and seeing if anyone would want to buy?" I wondered what spray painting would do to the tone....

The one I made has a bell like sound when it's empty tapping with my fingers , almost like a steel pan on one side especially. And I've not looked around to see if empty shakers are sold and thought this would be a cool concept anyway, that one could fill it with anything they wanted and play around with sound-potentials (It's not watertight though, so liquids will leak). It's roughly the size of a mason jar.

So, I'll see if anyone might be interested in purchasing, or maybe this might inspire others to DIY???
