Amazing carrying capacity for a woman’s med frame, large pack. When loaded up I swore sales person forgot to add 20 of the 45#s! It’s been a great pack on lots of cold weather adventures and summer jaunts. Sits snug for xc skiing and has great padding for the most comfortable pack I have ever owned. Top pouch detaches to be a very roomy fanny pack.

Pack has been to the top of a couple and hunkered down camaflauged on the side of most of the big cascade peaks. It’s waded in the Pacific around headlands on Peninsula and done the PCT from Sierras to Canada. It’s been a springboard for marmots, a pillow for an elk and pissed off its share of yellowjackets. It waits for the adventures to continue.

It’s not super light but you won’t notice the weight and 10#s compared to other packs.
