I'm selling this Excel 791 electric vehicle heater. I bought this new from B & C Auto Supply in Kenai, Alaska. I had a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle and no garage. The car sat outside in the dead of winter. A co-worker mechanic recommended I use this heater to keep the vehicle interior warm and the windows clear of snow & ice. It worked great. Run an extension cord to the vehicle and simply plug the heater into the cord. It does not have an ON / Off switch, but you can add one to the setup or even have a timer on the outlet end of the extension cord. This heater is designed to be safely mounted in a vehicle. I didn't find mounting the heater necessary, but it would have been easy to do.

The heater weighs about 4 pounds. It comes in the original box with the mounting bracket, screws, and instructions. The heater cord is 6 feet long.

I measured the approximate heater dimensions: 8 inches front to back, 7 3/4 inches wide, and 2 1/2 inches in height. The total height will be a little more if the heater is mounted.

The heater case shows some minor scratches, but otherwise it's in very good condition.

I tried to upload a video showing the heater operating and blowing hot air on a temperature gauge, but the format is not supported.

The heater specifications are: 850 watts with 120 volts at 60 hertz.
