I'm looking for a certified subaru tech that can help me with a 2019 crosstrek. I recently did an engine pull for an oil clean out. I have replaced all oil control parts, i.e. ocvs's, campsrockets, cam carriers screens, cleaned out oil pan, etc. Timing was done via STIS sheets from subaru. I was very methodical.

The engine is back in the car and it runs. I have yet to get an error code, but i am seeing negative vvt readings on left and right vvt sensors according to Active OBD app. Which is what warranted the engine pull in the first place as timing was off.

I would like to hire a technician to help me verify timing procedure and assess whether or not I'm dealing with a mechanical issue or a ecu issue.

I will pull the timing cover and we can retime the engine together.

I am looking for guidance and apprenticeship.
