Celestron's Nexstar Evolution 6 computerized telescope is the third generation of the popular Nexstar series with several notable improvements over the older Nexstar 6se. The built in LiFePo rechargeable battery makes it easy to take the scope out in the country far from city lights for the best deep sky views. I actually took this scope to Eastern Oregon to view the recent super nova in galaxy M101. The built in WIFI allows you to use Celestron's free Skyportal app to control the scope directly from a planetarium program. And the mount and tripod are sturdy enough to cure the shaky views you get with cheaper scopes. Online reviews frequently call this the best first computerized telescope.
I'm including pictures of the moon and planets taken from my own back yard.
