Celestron's Evolution 9.25 is a top of the line transportable telescope. The extra heavy duty tripod is the same model used on Celestron's CPC-11 telescope. In fact, a friend of mine uses a C11 optical tube on his Evolution telescope mount. The telescope can be aligned to the night sky with the included Nexstar+ hand control or you can use your smart phone or tablet to connect wirelessly with Celestron's free "SkyPortal" app.
The 9.25 inch SCT optics deliver terrific close up views of the moon and planets. Astro-photographer Damian Peach even claimed his photos taken with a 9.25 SCT were some of the best ever taken from planet earth, although that was a few years back. See his review here: https://www.damianpeach.com/c925review.htm
In addition to the standard 1.25 inch diagonal and eyepieces, I'm including a padded case for the optics, an Astrozap dew shield, an upgraded Star Pointer Pro finder, and a set of anti-vibration pads. I'm willing to meet up within an hour of Eugene.
