We’ve really enjoyed having this handsome black gelding, but we’re looking for the right fit for him and his next person.
At home, he is such a good boy. We’ve ridden him all over our property, and our kids have ridden him bareback in a halter. He is easy to get along with, neck reins, moves nicely off your feet, and he is smooth!!
He is also great for all the everyday stuff easy to bathe, great for the farrier, hauls quietly and ties quietly. He has ranch experience and has been around cattle.
With previous owner they roped the dummy on him and doctored a few. But we haven’t done any of that. We’ve just ridden him.
We have taken him to a rodeo, and that is where we have found that he can get a little more worked up with the excitement and atmosphere. Because of that, we feel an experienced kid or adult would be the best fit if the goal is to compete with him. We want to be completely honest about that so he finds the right rider and situation.
