Hello, we are an Global Learner's Institute (English Language School) - Kaburaki Consultation Educational
We are an afterschool English center offering
top-quality English courses to help children gain the skills they need to succeed in the 21st
century, and attend prestigious schools around the world. We have three locations (Harumi,
Hiroo, and Musashikosugi).
Beyond the four skills of English, we provide our students with test preparation, individual
counseling, programming courses, and several immersion opportunities through which they can
gain experience that will benefit them academically, socially, and personally.

Currently, we are seeking an experienced English teacher to conduct lessons as a part-time
teacher in one or more of our three locations.
Here are the standards which we require:
- Must have a teaching certificate or equivalent (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
- Must have a college degree
- Must have a valid working visa
- Ability to commit to a long term position (minimum one year)
- Native-level English ability.
- Teaching experience (at least one year) *other related experiences may be considered as a bonus.
- Experience working with children.
- Passionate about education and inspiring students to succeed.
- A global worldview that fosters inclusion and cooperation.
- Friendly, energetic, professional and open to learning new things.
-1 year contract (will be re-evaluated)
- 3 month probation period (will be re-evaluated)
- Physically able to complete the job duties listed below:
Job Duties:
- Conduct English lessons for students aged 4-17
- Work in the afternoons/evenings at least two days in a week(average shift 4.5 hours)
- Plan and teach quality English lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Use digital tools to communicate internally, improve lesson quality and provide lesson feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Communicate with students and staff in a professional, friendly manner.
- Ability to teach in multiple locations if required.
- Manage a classroom of up to 8 students by yourself for up to 75 minutes.
- Create a positive and effective learning environment.

Salary and Compensation:
1,226 yen/hour for administrative tasks (lesson planning / student feedback)
2,500 yen/hour for teaching (lesson time)
*Training period of 1-3 month will be paid at the administrative rate. (training may be extended if
the applicant is unable to fulfill the job duties independently by the end of the training period.)
Transportation costs reimbursed up to 20,000yen/month.
Salary paid monthly.
