Y.R.C. English School is seeking native English conversation instructors
to teach adult learners rebuilding their English from the basics.
Our students are mainly adults who:
• struggled with English in the past
• want to relearn English step by step
• value clear explanations and supportive lessons
This position is offered as an independent contractor (not employment).
Responsibilities:
• Teaching basic English and conversation classes
• Small group and private lessons
• Following our existing curriculum (flexible adjustments welcome)
• Supporting learners with patience and professionalism
Compensation:
• ¥2,000 per 50-minute lesson
• Paid per lesson (not hourly wage)
• Lesson schedule and frequency decided by mutual agreement
Location:
• Yokohama, Japan
• In-person classes
Requirements:
• Available to start teaching around in late August or September
• Able to commute to Kannai Station within approximately 40 minutes
Preferred:
• Experience teaching English (formal or informal)
• Ability to explain clearly and calmly
• Reliable communication
• Basic Japanese communication is helpful but not required
