You will need a decent antenna if you decided to cut the cable and just use internet. But you still need an antenna for OATV. This Long Distance antenna is advertised as 75 mile range, but usually only gets stations within 30-40 miles. Weather, building obstructions between you and the transmitting tower and antenna mount height determine reception at your house. Do not believe the BS you read on-line about 100 mile reception for OATV, it is impossible unless you live on a mountain top. New antenna's sell for over $150.

Comes with 14 foot long metal pole. Booster box not included but is necessary for good reception. Bring pickup, trailer or big vehicle to transport as this antenna is 12 feet in length.

This unit can be placed in attic but is best when mounted on pole outdoors. Just remember to take it down before a hurricane
