Meet doc
Doc is a 12 year old appendix gelding we haven’t taped him yet but he’s pretty tall I would guess anywhere around 15-16 hands doc has been used on ranches in the past, since I’ve owned him just mostly trails thrown a few ropes here and there and ridden in the arena he’s had some what beginners on him but I wouldn’t put kids or super inexperienced people on him unless being led

-loads and trailers alone
-stands for farrier
-stands for bath
-crosses water
-can be roped off of
-seen cattle
-not spooky
-good with dogs (pigs, llamas, mules)
-not buddy sour
-not barn sour
-can ride in a group or alone
-gets along with everyone
Cons
-When we first got him he was lame from being kicked/thrush we handled the thrush cold hosed him and he’s never gone lame on us again
-he doesn’t like his tail touched he won’t kick but he will move his butt away will stand still with some persuasion
