Assistant Manager — Elmhurst Taproom + Kitchen
Phase Three Brewing Company is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to help run our Elmhurst location. You'll be the GM's right hand — on the floor daily, leading the team, and owning two key areas: private events and bar ordering.
What You'll Do
Manage private events from booking through day-of execution
Own beer and bar ordering, including inventory and vendor relationships
Run daily floor operations and support opening/closing
Coach and lead the FOH team to Phase Three's hospitality standards
Help fulfill and support other various restaurant manager duties
Step in for the GM when needed
What We're Looking For
2+ years of bar, restaurant, or hospitality management experience
A genuine passion for craft beer and hospitality
Sharp attention to detail
Strong communication and leadership skills
Availability nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (shifts often 8+ hours)
Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, and work in tight spaces (behind the bar, storage areas)
Comfortable working in varying temperatures (walk-in coolers, kitchen heat)
Manual dexterity for pouring, mixing, and handling glassware and equipment
Compensation & Benefits
$55,000–$60,000/year based on experience, plus bonus potential. Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance; 401(k); disability coverage; paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
