Join our team and help create a great dining experience! We are looking for local, energetic, customer-focused Food Service Workers to support our café operations at a busy site in Ellendale, ND. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive team.
In this role, you will help ensure our café runs smoothly by assisting with food service, stocking, cashiering, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.
What You'll Do
Food Service & Customer Support
• Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, beverages, and utensils.
• Serve guests and replenish food items throughout meal periods.
• Break down and restock stations after service.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to all guests.
Café Operations
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
• Stock and maintain beverage stations and other assigned service areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation as needed.
• Support day-to-day retail and food service operations.
Cleaning & Sanitation
• Clean and sanitize equipment, workstations, and service areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and café shutdown procedures.
What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic food handling knowledge and skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Professional appearance and commitment to ethical conduct.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Dependable, reliable, and willing to support team success.
