My brother-in law a retired engineer built a set of these for my vessel when I was doing the Great Loop on my boat. We have now been making them for approx 12 years. We have made many great improvements to the product in that time. Use them to carry your tender aft of the swim platform. If you Google or search the name given to our Davits, pullondavits, our web site can be found to get more information but a phone call can sure help in answering your questions. When using our Davits without mechanical assistance to load your dinghy we recommend keeping the total weight under 250lbs. Customers have also used a harness on the tender with a block and tackle or a removable winch to help raise the tender onto there vessel.

Stainless steel packing plates $80
Weaver swim platform mounting plates (purchased from other sources) approx $150

Our newest extensions are made of 7 gauge 1 1/2” stainless steel. Drawing attached. They will get the centerline of your tender up to 9.5” off the end of your swim platform. They will support more weight than the aluminum extensions shown and are recommended when used in salt water. Using Davits without extensions will keep the center of you dinghy approx 1” - 2” from the end of your swim platform.
