Craigslist was the best place to get stuff at reasonable to low prices and you would even get a super deal, but noo. These sellers must be out of their minds with their outrageous pricetags. Same old ads being rehashed over and over and over again, yet the prices don't ever change. Try to work out a deal, but there's no negotiations, no flexability, no deals. No wonder they don't sell anything. Follow the ads and you'll see for yourself. Ads are over several months old being renewed constantantly. One particular seller has even tried to corner the market with their overpriced crap.
Yes, the seller has a right to sell their stuff at their asking prices, but they post prices that are higher than other sites and they don't sell anything. They keep renewing the same old ads yet they haven't figured it out why nothing is selling.
There were several items I was very interested in, but the ungodly high pricetags stopped me dead in my tracks. I found the same exact items on other sites for a fraction of the cost. A shame because I'd love to do business with local sellers, but they all force me to look and purchase elsewhere.
Yes, sellers are supposed to be in the business of making money, not losing it and I understand that, but there's a big difference between making money and raping people.
