Additional information
I have worked in the electronics and failure analysis field for over 30 years with a very strong understanding of circuit
theory and name to isolate and troubleshoot most circuit failures without the aid of service
manuals or schematics. I can also analyze and identify unknown circuits and
their functions as well as draw out schematics to aid troubleshooting. For
years I have been using a semiconductor curve tracer (Huntron Tracker &
Tektronix 577) in identifying component characteristics and finding substitutes
when original components are no longer available. I have a basic understanding
of Pspice, Eagle and other CAD programs, circuit board routing, layout,
printing and etching. My line of work didn't require much use of this so my
understanding on it is again, basic. I am more experienced and proficient with
PLC's and motor drives, 208V and 480V. As well as RF broadcasting, antenna
setup/sweeping, troubleshooting transmitters and repeaters, networking, routing
cables and wires for BBS/RBS Cabinets in the cellular field and (recently) some
tower climbing experience, and more than 10 yrs repairing/calibrating test
equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power
