We are looking for an organized, professional and firm leader with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to help maintain high safety standards and full regulatory compliance across our fleet operations.
100% Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
We work with drivers who may not be fully fluent in English, so clear and confident communication in both languages—written and verbal—is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audit and maintain electronic logs (ELD – Samsara system) for the entire fleet
Monitor Samsara alerts (HOS violations, speeding, safety events, malfunctions)
Provide immediate follow-up on incidents and accidents, including documentation and internal coordination
Communicate with drivers via phone and ELD system to train, correct, and guide them on safety and Hours of Service compliance
Enforce company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations
Maintain detailed compliance and safety records
Manage inventory of Samsara devices and related equipment
Work closely with operations and administrative teams
Interview and assist in hiring drivers
Help drivers complete employment applications and required documentation
Provide onboarding orientation and basic safety training before drivers begin working.
REQUIREMENTS:
100% Bilingual (English / Spanish) — mandatory
Previous experience in transportation safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance
Experience working with ELD systems (Samsara experience preferred)
Experience handling and following up on accidents
Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
Team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
