We are looking for a motivated and dedicated person to join our team. We are a medium sized trucking company located in El Paso, TX. This position requires excellent communication and people skills. The work schedule for this position will be: 5:00PM – 5:00AM, 3-4 nights a week. It may also include a shift on Sunday from 5:00AM – 5:00PM. Scheduled hours are based on a 48-hour work week. Applicant must possess the following:
• Dispatch experience or knowledge of the transportation industry a plus
• Applicant must be dependable
• Organization skills a must
• Must be computer literate. Knowledge of dispatch software a plus
• Must be able to work independently and problem solve
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor trucks and drivers to ensure that they will make on time delivery
Send scheduled fleet updates to customers throughout the night
Assist drivers who have breakdowns on the road
