Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of property management systems, and exceptional customer service abilities. This role offers an opportunity to manage multiple properties efficiently while maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction and operational excellence. The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth property operations, fostering positive tenant relationships, and leading a team of building managers and maintenance staff.
Duties
• Oversee the leasing process, including tenant screening, lease negotiations, and move-in/move-out procedures
• Manage property maintenance requests and coordinate repairs
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing of all property records, lease agreements, and correspondence
• Utilize Sage 300 software for rent collection, accounting, and reporting purposes
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants through sales techniques and customer relationship
management
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties meet safety and quality standards
• Handle tenant inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and repairs
• Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financials for senior management
• Lead administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing documentation, and maintaining office organization
Qualifications
• Proven experience in property management or related administrative roles with a focus on residential properties
• Proficiency in using computer software, and data entry procedures
• Strong office experience with excellent organizational skills including filing and record keeping
• Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
• Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management
• Knowledge of property management regulations, safety standards, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience with office administration, data management, and vendor coordination is preferred
