Lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals, good technique, and long-term musical confidence in a calm, consistent learning environment.
I studied under Professor Kasia Sokol Borup (University of Utah) and Professor Ron Patterson (University of Washington), and have several years of teaching experience working with students in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings.
Lessons incorporate the Suzuki method along with traditional etudes such as Mazas, Wohlfahrt, and Ševčík. Students also have opportunities to work on pieces they enjoy, including repertoire and songs they’re excited about.
