This is a genuine JDM import, a 1992 Mazda Bongo Brawny Motor Home, imported with full paperwork, original manuals, and a clean Washington State title. If you're looking for a small, easy-to-drive camper that still has plenty of room for the whole family (or friends), this camper is a really unique setup.
We’ve enjoyed 6 great years of Eastern Washington and Oregon coast camping trips, and overnight ski trips up at Crystal Mountain regularly hosting 4 adults with all our ski gear and one small dog. The compact size makes it surprisingly easy to drive and park while still giving you everything you need for comfortable camping.
The basics:
- 37,048 original miles
- 17 ft. long, right-hand drive, 5-speed manual
- Diesel engine (exempt from emissions testing)
- 4-wheel drive with manual locking front hubs
- Dually rear wheels for added stability
- 6 all-season tires; all 4 rear duallies replaced with brand new tires in June 2026 (invoice available upon request)
- Panasonic live camera (use as backup or dash cam)
- Installed new bluetooth radio; CarPlay enabled
Power & electrical:
- Two new high-capacity marine batteries, 220 amp hours combined, separate from engine battery
- Battery monitor (shows charge % at a glance)
- Batteries charge via engine alternator or shore power (15-amp); 15-to-30-amp converter included
- New power inverter
- All lights converted to LED for minimal energy draw
Cooking & climate
- 3-way refrigerator (runs on electric, propane, or diesel)
- Dual-burner propane stove
- Mikuni diesel heater, extremely fuel-efficient and very effective
- AC unit inspected and recharged with refrigerant (never personally used)
Water & plumbing:
- 26-gallon fresh water tank
- Water pump and water heater to sink
- Grey tank only. Black tank was removed by the original owner, simplifying waste management
Interior & sleeping:
- Sleeps up to 4: over-cab bed (2) + dinette converts to bed (2)
- Bathroom was removed by original owner, now a large dedicated storage/gear closet (great for skis, bikes, or camping equipment)
- Cabinets and storage throughout
Recent service & upgrades:
- Professional roof inspection by ACE RV, North Bend, WA (02/2020, invoice included)
- Full service: engine oil, both fuel filters, oil filter, and transmission oil changed (08/2026)
- Replacement of all 4 dually rear tires; Spare tire needs replacing
- New bluetooth radio; CarPlay enabled

- The RV has been regularly serviced and maintained at Doctor Don’s in Ballard, WA
