Established Central New Jersey Electrical Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial Electrician for a full-time, long-term position with an established electrical contracting company.
We're not simply looking to fill a seat. We're looking for an experienced electrician who takes pride in the trade, does quality work, can solve problems in the field, and wants to become an important part of our company.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate should have solid commercial and/or industrial electrical experience, including:
• Electrical troubleshooting and service work
• EMT and rigid conduit bending and installation
• Feeders, branch circuits, panels and electrical distribution equipment
• Transformers
• Motors and motor controls
• Reading electrical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to plan work and solve problems in the field
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Strong attention to safety and workmanship
Experience leading other electricians or running projects is a definite plus.
COMPENSATION
$40–$45+ per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability.
Higher compensation is available for an exceptional candidate with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently manage projects and lead other electricians.
We also offer overtime opportunities and performance-based bonuses throughout the year, so total annual compensation can be significantly higher than base hourly earnings.
