We are seeking a DEDICATED Caretaker (25+) to provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals requiring care in a residential setting. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of those under your care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, along with a proactive approach to caregiving. You will play a key role in fostering a positive environment, maintaining safety standards, and delivering personalized care that enhances quality of life.
This part time (7 days/4hrs) paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in caregiving.
You will help get the client up for the day 7:30am-9:30am & ready for bed 7:00p-9:00p
*Perfect for someone responsible, and compassionate as well as, caring, and looking for some part time work to fill their daily schedules.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with client to understand their needs and provide appropriate support.
* Assist with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and medication reminders, ensuring comfort and dignity.
* Monitor the safety of client by conducting regular checks and responding promptly to emergencies or concerns from family members.
* Perform light housekeeping duties (putting lines in washing machine & dryer)
* Getting to and from work
Experience
*Does not need to be CHHA certified
* Proven experience in caregiving, or related roles within residential environments.
* Demonstrating the ability to oversee clients effectively.
* Strong client interactions and rapport skills with an emphasis on compassionate communication in Korean and English
