Ecologically Minded Couple Seeks Home to Buy in Arcata 1

My wife and I are looking to relocate to Arcata area and are looking for a house to buy within easy biking/ walking distance of the plaza, ideally on a hill in town or east of the freeway near the university. We know what it's like to get attached to a property and not want it messed up by a new owner. We would never use herbicides or damage gardens/ habitat in any way. We love wild nature, mature gardens and older houses with character. We have ten years of experience of rewilding and restoring our 15 acres in the Sierra, and strong references. We're involved in environmental activism/ animal rescue and would be an asset to the Arcata community. We're also open to sublet/ house sit/ rental situations and have extensive experience with rabbits, cats, dogs, birds, etc.
