Delaware Brick Company, a Delaware family-owned company serving the masonry and building materials industry for 80 years, is looking for an experienced CDL-A Truck Driver with Moffett experience to join our team in Easton/Chestertown, Maryland.
Position Responsibilities
Safely deliver brick, block, pavers, stone, and other masonry/building materials to customers and job sites
Operate a Moffett truck-mounted forklift to unload materials
Perform safe and accurate job-site deliveries
Properly secure and inspect loads before leaving the yard
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, dispatch, and Delaware Brick employees
Follow all DOT, OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements
Keep truck and equipment clean and properly maintained
Immediately report equipment, delivery, or safety concerns
Use SwipeClock to accurately clock in and clock out for all scheduled shifts and work periods
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL required
Moffett experience required
Current DOT medical card
Safe driving record
Experience delivering building, masonry, landscaping, or construction materials preferred
Ability to safely operate and unload a Moffett at residential and commercial job sites
Knowledge of proper load securement
Dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented
Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Must reliably use SwipeClock for timekeeping, including clocking in and out as required by company policy
