Being upfront: the black ear pads are worn and need replacing. Replacement pads are cheap, easy to find and pop on magnetically in about a minute, no tools needed. I'm including a set of SoloWIT sweat-proof ear pad covers you can stretch over the current pads to use them right away or at the gym.
