I bought this unit new back around 2015 I believe, seems like they had just been discontinued or something, but I wanted a multi effect pedal that could act like a standard pedal board and would also do amp modeling, because the project I was joining up with liked to run all of their guitars straight to the PA. That project ended several years back when the older members retired, but I have used it in a couple of other bands since. I've resigned from the latest project I was using it with and I don't want to see it just sit around collecting dust, because I use a couple of downsized simpler rigs for the other projects I currently work with.
It's got a little honest wear and tear (from ten years of use), but as you can see no damage whatsoever (thanks to being in a carrying case when not in use), everything works, and aside from the velcro I put on the bottom to mount it to a pedal board, nothing is modified. This thing is all metal, built like a freaking tank, nice tactile footswitches and a programmable expression pedal that can be used for lots of different effects, or simply as a volume pedal. You can download the Xedit software and fine tune all of your patches on a computer to really get the most out of it and really dial in your sound. This thing was cutting edge when it first came out, and it still holds its own to this day, there are still several pros using the next version up (RP1000) to this day. Works great for ampless recording or live gigs, and as you can see, you can run out of quarter inch jacks or XLR, both stereo. I've also put this into the power amp section of a couple different amps and it works great like that too. Great for your main rig, or something to take as a backup to shows in case something happens with your main setup and you need a quick fill-in to get you through the night. You can even use it as a backup to your pedal board if you leave it in pedal board mode, that way you can turn off and on the individual effects within the patch just as if you had your pedals right there in front of you.
I've got this priced on the low end of what you can get one online for through the used section of many online retailers and on the second hand sites, so it's a good price for a proven piece of gear that comes with a ton of flexibility and features. It's worth this much for the Whammy effect! Thanks for looking.
