We have a hardy flock of 40 pure Icelandic horned ewes, all bred to our ram with beautiful wide, symmetrical horns and lovely silver-grey wool (not a registered flock).
We’ve been raising Icelandic sheep for 14 years (have never had any other sheep breed on our farm) — hardy, colorful, great for meat, milk, and fiber, and they thrive on pasture.
