There aren't photos on this ad because I'm the sort of weirdo who doesn't want to take and subsequently post photos of my messy-ass room. In fact, getting this damn big-ass bed out of here is going to go a long way toward what I'm trying to do to make this space more usable.
It's a four-poster bedframe, the spires on each corner are a little over six feet tall, it fits a Queen-sized mattress. I'd like to put this bedframe, and it's associated box spring + mattress, into your truck. The bedframe is nice, it's made of (solid? maybe?) wood. It once belonged to my parents, and it's been mine for a while now.
(I put a $20 price on here because folks on the free section are feral. You can optionally hand me a crisp $20 bill, truly, I do not care. Take it for free if you want. I'll just use that twenty to buy a pizza for me and my wife.)
Then, you take it home and say "wow, this sure is a bed that's mine now" and we all move on with our lives.
Look, you don't even gotta keep the box spring and mattress if you don't want to. Toss 'em for all I care, even though that would be kind of a waste. I would just prefer they not be here, and you're already gonna have a truck on hand. I drive a hatchback. I'm hoping I can, at least, help somebody out who needs or wants a bed.
If you'd want some backstory about why you might be cool taking formal possession of a mattress, here you go. Because, I get it, I wouldn't really want a used mattress, but this is actually sort of a different case.
Back in 2018, I moved into my current home with my partner. Our house has three bedrooms, so we share one, and we each have our own room to do with what we please. I, foolishly, put a bed in mine. I thought it'd be cool. It's not. It takes up a bunch of space, I've slept in it roughly 12 times in 8 years, and it's been a guest bed twice.
